She has become quite good at minding her manners and learning commands, but needs work on "stay". She is very smart, but can be stubborn once in a while. Her heart and soul are one of the sweetest around. She is done growing, but she is very strong & athletic and should receive regular exercise. She always has a "squeaker", a ball, a Kong, a bone - some kind of toy in her mouth! She will need to continue to have toys available to her in her forever home.</P> <P>Although Ripley has Epilepsy, you would never know it because she looks, acts and functions practically as normally as any other dog. Since December 2010, she has only had 3 seizures and those all occurred within one 24-hour period. Epilepsy medication is not very expensive, and seizures are manageable.</P> <P>Ripley truly is a special and unique Saint, especially because of her being a cow-faced smoothie. Because she was abused in the past, behavioral corrections with Ripley should be firm, yet gentle. Ripley is a beautiful, sweet, special, and funny Saint who will win over your heart!</P>',
